Property and Casualty Account Manager

The position responsibilities include working with a team to service clients and help the Producer write new clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to client requests in a timely, effective and professional manner
  2. Respond to Producer requests in a timely, effective and professional manner
  3. Request endorsements and policy changes to the insurance company
  4. Maintain computer files according to procedure
  5. Work with the client to obtain new and renewal data on assigned accounts
  6. Identify cross-selling opportunities on current clients and receive commission for writing the policies.
  7. Make market recommendations and create applications
  8. Negotiate with carriers to create the best combination of coverage and premium
  9. Prepare coverage summaries/comparisons, proposals and recommendations for us to present to clients and prospects

Qualifications:

  1. California Fire and Casualty License
  2. High school diploma
  3. Professional appearance
  4. Excellent people skills
  5. Good oral and written communication skills
  6. Experience as an customer service representative or Account Manager in a retail insurance agency
